Southern Cultures Park
Yuzhnye Kultury Park — the oldest dendrological park on the Black Sea coast, located in the Adler district (urban-type settlement of Sirius). Founded in 1910 by General D.V. Drachevsky, it covers an area of 20 hectares. A unique collection of subtropical flora is combined with landscape design: century-old trees, ponds, waterfalls, and bridges. Rare palms, bamboo, magnolias, and eucalyptus trees grow here; swans and ducks inhabit the water bodies. There is a mini-zoo with rabbits, peacocks, and nutria. The atmosphere of a quiet estate offers coolness and aesthetics away from the Beaches. Ideal for botanists, leisurely walks, and photo shoots.
ℹ️Park Features:
Flora: over 600 plant species, including relict ones. Particularly beautiful in spring during the blooming of magnolias and cherry blossoms.
Landscape: ponds with fountains, cascades, winding paths, gazebos, and sculptures create the effect of an English garden. Numerous benches are available.
Fauna: swans, ducks, and peacocks roam freely around the territory, adding a fairy-tale charm and attracting children.
Location: the quiet Sirius district near Olympic Park ensures access without tourist crowds.
