White Rocks Canyon
⛰️White Rocks Canyon — a picturesque gorge of the Bolshaya Khosta River in its middle course, surrounded by relic Colchic forest of boxwood and yew.

Landscape: white limestone cliffs up to 30–40 meters high form a narrow corridor through which the river with crystal clear turquoise water flows.

Flora: surrounded by relic forest with boxwood, yew, ferns, and rhododendrons; in spring and early summer, the undergrowth and mountain herbs bloom especially beautifully.

📝Practical tips:
How to get there: from the village of Krasnaya Volya (9B Lesnaya St.) — a walking trail along the river (~20–30 minutes). Landmark — the "White Rocks Canyon" sign or navigator by coordinates.
Footwear and clothing: comfortable closed shoes with non-slip soles are mandatory — the trail is rocky and wet in places.
Best time: May–June and September — comfortable temperature, clear water, fewer tourists. Avoid ascending after heavy rains — the river water level may rise sharply.
Swimming: you can swim in the blue pool in summer, but the water is cool even in the heat (+16–18 °C).
Ethics and safety: do not leave trash, do not break plants, do not approach the edge of the cliffs without insurance. Take your trash with you.
🗺️Integration into the location: The canyon is located in the Khostinsky district, near the village of Krasnaya Volya, on the territory of the Sochi National Park. Nearby are other natural attractions: Yew-Boxwood Grove, Akhtsu Gorge, Khosta River. It is convenient to combine a visit to the canyon with a tour of eco-trails, a walk to the Rock of Luck, or a rest on the beaches of Khosta. The nearest public transport stops are in the settlement of Khosta (~15 minutes by taxi).
Operating hours: 24/7 (access to the trail — during daylight hours, recommended until 17:00).
Admission: a one-time pass from the Sochi National Park is required (~150–300 ₽, please check on site).
