Ethnopark My Russia

🇷🇺 Ethnopark "My Russia" — a large-scale open-air cultural and ethnographic center located in the picturesque Rosa Valley at the Krasnaya Polyana resort. This unique project presents "Russia in miniature," where architectural masterpieces and cultural symbols of eleven regions of the country are gathered on one territory: from a Buddhist datsan and Siberian log cabins to St. Petersburg palaces and Urals chambers.
The main feature of the park is the highest level of detail in the buildings, harmoniously integrated into the mountain landscape, and the opportunity to take an exciting journey across the entire country in one day. Free tours and interactive programs make the visit not only educational but also entertaining. An ideal choice for family leisure, history and architecture enthusiasts, and those who want to see the diversity of Russian culture in one place.

ℹ️Ethnopark features:

  • Architectural diversity: 11 thematic pavilions recreating the authentic style of different regions (Buryatia, St. Petersburg, Siberia, Urals, Cossack settlement, etc.).

  • Interactivity and education: free tour programs, craft workshops, tastings of national dishes and drinks.

  • Landscape and atmosphere: the park is located in the valley of the Mzymta River, surrounded by mountains, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere; well-maintained alleys, bridges, and rest areas.

  • Cultural program: regular festivals, concerts of folk ensembles, and holidays dedicated to the traditions of the peoples of Russia.

✅Who it is suitable for:

  • Families with children — visual study of geography and history, interesting workshops, safe territory for walks.

  • Architecture and photography enthusiasts — the opportunity to take unique shots in the styles of different eras and regions without long travels.

  • Visitors to mountain resorts — an excellent alternative or supplement to skiing/snowboarding; operates year-round.

  • Culture connoisseurs — a chance to learn more about the traditions, daily life, and art of the peoples of Russia from professional guides.

📝Practical tips:

How to get there: the park is located in Rosa Valley (Rosa Khutor resort). It is most convenient to drive or take a taxi to the Rosa Khutor parking lot, then walk or use internal transport to the ethnopark entrance. From Adler or Sochi — by train to Esto-Sadok station, then by bus or cable car to the Rosa Valley level.

Footwear and clothing: comfortable shoes for walking on cobblestones and dirt paths. In winter, warm clothing is necessary as the park is outdoors; in summer — light clothing and a hat.

Best time: weekday mornings — fewer tourists, allowing you to listen to the tour in peace. In the evening, the park is beautifully illuminated, creating a magical atmosphere.

Food: there are cafes and restaurants with national cuisine from different regions on the premises. You can also bring your own snacks.

Tours: check the schedule of free tours at the entrance or on the website; they run regularly and are very informative.

Integration into the location: The Ethnopark is located in the Adler District, in the village of Esto-Sadok, in the heart of the Mountain Cluster of Krasnaya Polyana. Nearby are the Rosa Khutor resort lifts, hotels, restaurants, and other entertainment (e.g., husky center). From here, it is convenient to combine a visit with a mountain ascent, walks along the Mzymta embankment, or relaxation in a spa. To the Black Sea coast is ~40–50 minutes by transport.

Opening hours: daily, usually from 10:00 to 22:00 (may vary depending on the season).

Admission: paid (ticket price varies, there are discounts for children and pensioners; tours are often included in the price or free). Check current prices on the website.
